MomentumShift started from a simple frustration: every fitness app could tell you what you'd done, but none of them could tell you when you'd arrive.
Most tracking apps are diaries. You log a meal, a workout, a weigh-in, and the app dutifully files it away. The data piles up, but the one question you actually care about — am I getting there, and how fast? — stays unanswered.
MomentumShift answers it. We take everything you log and turn it into a single living estimate: the date you'll reach your target, recalculated the moment you log. A clean day pulls the date in. A heavy one pushes it out. The number stays honest, every day, so the trade-offs you make are always visible.
What we believe
- A goal needs a date. "Lose fat" is a wish. "Lose fat by August 14" is a plan you can steer toward.
- Honesty beats encouragement. We won't hide a bad week behind a streak badge. If the date moved, you should see it move.
- Logging should be effortless. The faster it is to log, the more honest the data — and the better the estimate.
- Your data is yours. It powers your estimate and nothing else. We don't sell it, and you can take it or delete it whenever you like. See Your data.
